Glaive provides selected household services for NDIS participants whose funding arrangements allow them to engage an unregistered provider for the requested support.

Some people need help maintaining their home, preparing meals or keeping routine household tasks under control. Glaive focuses on those practical services rather than trying to be every type of disability-support provider.
The requested work is discussed before services commence so the participant, nominee or relevant representative understands what Glaive can provide and what falls outside our service scope.
Household services that may be available
Services are considered according to the participant's requirements, funding arrangements and the work requested.
Home cleaning
Regular or agreed household cleaning focused on maintaining a cleaner and more manageable home environment.
In-home meal preparation
Preparation of agreed everyday meals in the participant's own kitchen, subject to Glaive's food-safety and service boundaries.
Clean & Cook
Meal preparation followed by household cleaning during one extended visit, with the two activities separated through defined hygiene procedures.
Outdoor home help
Suitable routine outdoor assistance such as lawn mowing, edging, light shrub trimming and general garden tidy-ups.
NDIS provider status
It is important that participants understand how Glaive currently operates before engaging our services.
Glaive Cleaning Services is not currently a registered NDIS provider.
Glaive may provide appropriate household services where a participant's plan management and funding arrangements permit the use of an unregistered provider.
Participants, nominees and plan managers should confirm that the requested service can be purchased using the participant's available funding before engaging Glaive.
Glaive does not represent that every service advertised on this website will be claimable from an NDIS plan simply because the customer is an NDIS participant.
Self-managed participants
Participants who self-manage their NDIS funding may enquire about Glaive's household services where those services are appropriate to their plan and funding arrangements.
Glaive can provide invoices containing the agreed service information required for the transaction.
Plan-managed participants
Plan-managed participants may also enquire where their plan manager can pay an unregistered provider for the requested household service.
Relevant invoicing and payment arrangements should be established before regular services commence.
Agency-managed funding
Where the funding arrangement requires a registered NDIS provider, Glaive cannot provide the service through that funding arrangement while Glaive remains unregistered.

Owner-operated
Glaive is owner-operated, providing a direct point of contact and clear accountability for the services delivered.
Checks & training
National Police Check, Working With Children Check, First Aid and CPR, WHS qualifications and infection-control training support Glaive's approach to working in people's homes.
Clearly defined services
Glaive agrees what household assistance will be provided rather than allowing the service to drift into activities outside its capability or agreed scope.
Meal preparation and Clean & Cook
Participants requiring practical assistance with ordinary meal preparation may enquire about Glaive's in-home cooking services where the requested support is suitable.
All meal preparation takes place in the participant's own kitchen. For Clean & Cook bookings, meal preparation is completed before general household cleaning begins so the two activities remain separated.
Food allergy exclusion: Glaive does not provide meal preparation for anyone with a diagnosed or suspected food allergy, or where allergen-free meal preparation is required.
Glaive also does not provide therapeutic or medically prescribed diets.
These meal-preparation exclusions do not prevent a participant from using Glaive for suitable cleaning or other household services.
Clear service boundaries
Glaive's NDIS offering is focused on practical household assistance within our advertised capabilities. It is not intended to replace specialist disability, health or personal-care services.
- Glaive does not provide personal care such as showering, toileting, dressing or grooming assistance.
- Glaive does not administer medication or provide medication management.
- Glaive does not provide nursing, clinical care, therapy or allied-health services.
- Glaive does not provide behaviour support or restrictive practices.
- Glaive does not provide lifting, transferring or manual handling of participants.
- Meal preparation is subject to Glaive's food-safety, allergy and dietary-service exclusions.
- Outdoor work is limited to the activities and safe-access conditions described under Outdoor Home Help.
- Cleaning and other household work remain subject to the agreed service scope and Glaive's general safety exclusions.
- Glaive may decline a requested activity where it falls outside our service capability, insurance, agreed scope or safe working arrangements.
